Babamın Şiir Defteri is a Turkish-language poetry and literature project whose starting point is the poetry notebook of retired teacher Şaban Gürtuna. It offers paths through poems, poets and literary works, alongside the family collection and the Rüzgârlı Tepe poetry book. Readers can begin with an author, return to a familiar poem or use a literary reading to explore a work in context. The site also provides practical reader and writer guides, including approaches to reading Ömer Hayyam in translation, choosing an e-book reader and preparing a poetry manuscript for print.
