About PollenCount
PollenCount is a pollen forecast website for the UK and Ireland. Search for one of 52 covered cities, or use "Find a city near me", to see today's pollen level and a four-day outlook. Each city page breaks the forecast down by pollen type (alder, birch, grass, mugwort, olive and ragweed) in grains per cubic metre, with Low, Moderate and High bands, plus a table of daily peaks and weather. The numbers come from the CAMS European air quality forecast and are modelled forecasts, not measured pollen counts; the site says so on every page and explains the method, coverage and limits on its methodology page. There are no accounts or email sign-ups, saved cities stay in your browser, and analytics only run if you allow them.
Planning a day outdoors with hay fever? PollenCount gives you a city-by-city pollen forecast for 52 UK and Irish cities, updated daily, with the next four days on one page. Pick the pollen type that affects you, compare days, and check the European AQI and weather for the same city on the same date. The Guides section covers reading a forecast, UK and US pollen seasons, pollen types, pollen versus air quality, and simple ways to reduce exposure, with sources such as NHS and AAFA guidance. Forecasts are based on CAMS model data; PollenCount labels partial or missing days instead of filling them in, and explains how bands and daily maximum values are calculated.
