PDFAnnotations is a privacy-first PDF annotation toolset for researchers, students, writers, lawyers, and knowledge workers. The web app extracts highlights, comments, sticky notes, underlines, and other supported annotations; organizes them in Workspace; removes unwanted layers; and exports to Markdown, CSV, XFDF, XML FDF, and related formats. Parsing and export run locally in the browser. Free tools include a three-PDF daily limit, while Pro adds higher limits and advanced workflows.
