About QuickShot
QuickShot is a screenshot app for Mac with markup and screen recording. Area and window capture, annotation, pins, text recognition, scrolling capture, screen recording and GIF in one app.
QuickShot starts every capture from one shortcut. Area, window, full screen, previous area and timed capture are all there, and the all-in-one mode (Shift-Command-1) lets you press Tab to switch modes mid-capture. A crosshair and pixel magnifier show coordinates and color values, with window snapping for precise framing. After capturing you get an annotation editor with arrows, counters and text, plus pins that float a screenshot above other windows, OCR text recognition, scrolling capture for long pages, and screen recording with GIF export. It is fast: about 6 ms from shortcut to ready-to-select and 23 MB of memory after launch on an M4 Max. Requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon
