About WhimKid
WhimKid is an AI storybook generator that turns a story idea, a photo, or a familiar character into an illustrated children's picture book. Choose one of five age bands from 0–3 to 9–12 to guide vocabulary and pacing. Save up to six reference characters and pick an art style such as crayon doodle, pastel chalk, paper collage, or ink wash. Review the script and art direction, then edit any page's text, layout, order, and illustrations. Add narration and background music, share through a link with a password or expiry date, or export a PDF.
