YouTube GIF Comments is a free browser tool from Spongy LLC. It converts short video clips into GIFs and compresses GIF files on the device, so clips are not uploaded to a server. The site also publishes plain guides for posting GIF comments on YouTube. There is no account, no watermark, and no fee. It is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, or Tenor. Launched 18 October 2026. Useful for creators who want a simple GIF for a comment or a smaller file before they share it.
