Peripheral (余光) helps travellers keep a personal record of the cities they visit. The browser-based app combines a footprint map with trip status, dates and transport details. Users can write private travel journals, add photos, review yearly city and journal counts, and save a footprint card image. Travel records start private, with optional public visibility and anonymous signals for people who pass through the same city. A fictional guest demo at https://peripheral.me/demo lets visitors explore before creating an account. The app is free, its interface is currently Chinese, and personal records require an account. It does not provide automatic GPS tracking, route planning or offline editing.
